In the Garden of Dreaming...

Newest

I've been tagged!

Sat Aug 8, 2009, 3:59 PM
:iconflaming-scorpion:'s fault.

1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person must post 8 things about themselves on their journal.
3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 8 people and post their icons on the same journal.
4. Go to their pages and send a message saying you tagged them.
5. No tag-backs!

1. I've recently become pretty interested in the German Sturm und Drang literary movement. Look it up, if you're not familiar with it already. It's pretty cool.

2. If I had the option of going back in time and assassinating two people before they could leave their mark on the world, they would be Mark Twain and Charles Darwin. I have my reasons.

3. I am horribly jealous of aerial silk performers. Also firebreathers.

4. I'm not really an animal person on a whole, but I get along surprisingly well with horses. Even big scary ones.

5. I have a major Princess&The Pea problem. I have to have like a bajillion cushions on my bed or I can't sleep. I also sleep with at least a quilt, a comforter, a blanket, a sheet, and a polar fleece blanket at all times.

6. I love skeletons. I think they're fascinating. Nature's architecture, if you will.

7. Faustian anti-heroes are among my favorite type of character, when they're well written.

8. Painting is very therapeutic for me.

AND I DON'T KNOW WHO TO TAG SO IF YOU SEE THIS AND HAVEN'T DONE IT, DO IT.

Hey Taylor, Where did you go to get those cemetery pictures? I went out today to several different cemeteries; however, they weren't exactly what I wanted. P.S. we need to do a photo shoot soon :) New camera lovee hehe.<3

The biggest mistake you can make is continually fearing you will make one.
:iconborealiscorvina:
I went out to Bellefontaine. =)

We should go sometime. I know I'll probably never find a cemetery like the one in Phantom of the Opera, but I can't help but wish. haha Also I need to do some portraits sometime soon incorporating a prop. Any ideas??

This cemetery actually comes pretty close in some places, but you're right, the one in Phantom of the Opera would be perfect.

As far as props go, maybe a musical instrument of some sort would be cool. A pretty fan might be kind of fun, too, depending on what you wanted to do. I guess the prop would depend on what sort of mood you wanted the portrait to have.
